“écht?” is a musical arthouse coming-of-age short feature of approximately 30 minutes about the emotional development of Johnny. It is a largely silent, expressionistic journey through Johnny’s inner emotional world, and a magical-realist account of a process of (self-)confrontation and self-acceptance. The film is supported by elements from the music of the accompanying concept album “Johnny loves me, écht?”.
